St. Louis Magazine Feature Article: The Presumption of Guilt
During two of my summers as an undergrad, I had the opportunity to work with St. Louis Magazine as an Art & Design Intern. The Design Director, Tom White, assigned me this feature spread to design and complete for the August 2018 issue of the magazine. I was given photos, credited to Kevin A. Roberts, to work with along with the body text written by Jeanette Cooperman. Given the context of the article, the design direction resembles an old newspaper with the off white background and harsh black text, however some of the design elements add a more modern, up-to-date twist. Traveling lines and a bold san serif text are also important aspects of the finished design.
