This projects involves the marketing and branding of the upcoming cultural parade, in the Near Southside neighborhood of Fort Worth, TX. This is an up-and-coming area that is working hard to improve their image and draw in a new audience to help the local businesses and culture thrive. Branding for the parade event was created with community in mind. The interlocking logo mark shows unification in its form and also resembles city blocks and streets intertwining. The goal of this area is to promote community involvement through events and activities that can support the local restaurants and businesses. A variety of restaurants, shops, and businesses from cultures around the world will be represented as one unified neighborhood during this parade. Logo and typography branding were created, along with other collateral items, like a parade banner, event apparel, and social media marketing elements.
